In May 2021, more than 3,000 patients registered with the West Malling Group Practice (WMGP) and living within a mile radius of The Hollies branch surgery were sent a letter to explain that due to the landlord giving notice to the practice to vacate, The Hollies would be closing at the end of August 2021.
The letter invited patients to give feedback on how the changes would affect them via:
an online survey
telephone call
paper copies of survey available at the practice.
The survey, which ran until 18 July 2021, was also promoted on the practice’s website.
More than 400 patients shared their thoughts and experience, which will help inform and shape the future provision of GP services in the area.
